A Spring Serenade

Our Spring concert will take place at the Bridge Church, Otley on Saturday 3rd June at 7.30pm. Amongst other items, the choir will be performing the première of a Requiem composed by choir member Martin Campey, organist at Otley Methodist Church and former Deputy Head teacher at The Whartons School.

Martin began the work during Covid lockdown, and following events in Ukraine the work developed into a prayer for peace.

The choir will be conducted by Musical Director Jackie Armitage and accompanied by Richard Wilson, Organist at St. Chad’s Far Headingley. Money raised from the concert will go to support Christian Aid and tickets will cost £10.00 each. There will be a raffle and refreshments will be served during the interval.
