The Chippendale Singers
a mixed voice choir based in Otley
Our repertoire includes both accompanied and a cappella music, ranging from 13th century to the present day. It encompasses madrigals, folk songs, spirituals and sacred works as well as a number of choral items by contemporary composers such as Andrew Carter and Alan Bullard.
Lighter music includes songs from the shows and the classic ‘Golden Oldies’ of Gershwin,
Cole Porter and Ivor Novello, amongst others.
In addition to the eclectic range
of choral music, our programmes frequently include vocal or instrumental solos, and
readings, both serious and light-hearted.
