If you've got a choir you need a good conductor

Not someone just to wave a little stick

The back view should be very entertaining

Especially when the music has a swing

     The Christmas party was so very popular

    The food exceptionally fine

    It was Bob's musical quizzes

    That found us struggling time after time

The practice nights were always well attended

Especially when refreshments were on hand

With Cynthia in the kitchen with the teabags

The singing notes they surely were enhanced

     Our concert venues were so very varied

    With audiences large and small

    We gave our very best at each performance

    Though often frozen stiff in cold Church halls
